Mexico Wins NACRA U19 Championships

Mexico has successfully defended their North American Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) U19 title with a 24-0 shutout of USA Rugby South Blue today in Orlando, Florida. Mexico won all three of their matches in the tournament, two by comfortable margins and a scare from Trinidad & Tobago in the semifinals. In the Championship match, Mexico roared out to a 24-0 halftime lead only to see both teams lock it down defensively in the second half. USA Rugby South Blue finished the tournament with a 2-1 record as they finished in second place.

Trinidad & Tobago claimed third place with a convincing 34-11 victory over Barbados.

Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos locked into the match of the day as Cayman scored at the death to with the 5th/6th place match.

USA Rugby South Red finished off their tournament on a high note with a 17-0 win over Bermuda in the 7th/8th place match.
